We have extended the deadline for scientific submissions

We want more professionals from across Latin America to have the opportunity to share their experience, research, and clinical practice at the largest interventional cardiology event in the region.

From the SOLACI & SBHCI 2026 Congress, we announce the extension of the deadline for scientific submissions.

This new deadline will allow us to continue receiving abstracts, clinical cases, and scientific experiences that contribute to the growth of our specialty, promoting academic exchange and regional participation within a scientific program of excellence.

The SOLACI & SBHCI 2026 Congress will take place from July 29 to 31, 2026, at the World Trade Center in São Paulo, Brazil, bringing together renowned international specialists, high-level scientific sessions, live cases, technological innovation, and the latest trends in interventional cardiology.

Submission categories

The call for submissions is aimed at trained and in-training interventional cardiologists, as well as technicians and nurses specialized in hemodynamics.

Coronary artery disease Cases and works related to coronary intervention.
Structural heart disease Structural approaches and transcatheter therapies.
Congenital heart disease Clinical and scientific experiences in congenital heart disease.
Extracardiac disease Peripheral intervention and other related areas.
Nursing Specialized works and experiences in hemodynamics.
Calcium Case Competition – Boston Scientific Special category for case submissions.
Laser Competition – Philips / Biomedical Special category for case submissions.

Recognition of excellence

Distinctions and awards

Recognizing scientific excellence, innovation, and clinical impact in interventional cardiology, the SOLACI & SBHCI 2026 Congress will feature a special awards program for the best submitted works.

Abstracts / Free Topics

The authors of the 3 best works will receive a package of academic benefits and international experiences, including registrations for benchmark events in the field.

1st place

Economy-class airfare and accommodation in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during SOLACI / CACI 2027.

2nd place

Economy-class airfare and accommodation in Natal (RN), Brazil, or São Paulo (SP), Brazil, during SBHCI PCI, CTO CLUB, SWISS CTO 2026, or TCT PLUS LATAM VALVES 2027, according to the winner’s preference.

3rd place

Economy-class airfare and accommodation in Natal (RN), Brazil, or São Paulo (SP), Brazil, during SBHCI PCI, CTO CLUB, SWISS CTO 2026, or TCT PLUS LATAM VALVES 2027, according to the winner’s preference.

Special awards

Calcium Challenge, laser case, and nursing

In addition to the distinctions for abstracts and clinical cases, the Congress will include special recognitions aimed at highlighting technical excellence, innovation, and the work of specialized hemodynamics teams.

Calcium Challenge – Best Complex PCI Cases

Support: Boston Scientific.

The 8 best clinical cases addressing intervention strategies in calcified lesions will be selected and awarded, including the use of rotational atherectomy and/or cutting balloon, either alone or in association with other contemporary plaque-modification techniques.

  • A maximum of 3 awards per country will be granted.
  • The use of IVUS to guide the cases will be mandatory.
  • The awarded author(s) will receive economy-class airfare, accommodation, and registration for TCT 2026.

Best Laser Case – Philips / Biomedical

Support: Philips / Biomedical.

The best clinical case using coronary laser atherectomy will be selected and awarded.

Award

The awarded author will receive 3 days of surgeries at Dr. Singh’s center – Barnes Jewish Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri, including economy-class airfare and accommodation.

Special award – Nursing area

We will recognize the best scientific works and clinical experiences presented by nursing professionals specialized in hemodynamics and interventional cardiology.
